Finds: Kate Spade Dupe

The other day I was with a friend and we stopped by Kate Spade. They just stocked up their new summer line and they had this polka dot makeup bag. It was so cute but when I looked at the price tag it was $450 or something like that. I thought that was definitely a bit too expensive but I stopped by forever21 and I found this on sale!

It was $32.90 and reduced to $10!

Food: McDonald's White Burger

Something new has arrived at McDonald's and I've got to say it was a bit strange when I first saw it.

According to the description in the picture i would say it's an interesting combination.

I'm gonna dig in and try it for myself and if you happen to stop by McDonald's try it out!

The marvellous creations from the new cadbury line is simply put haha marvellous! It's a combination of jelly, popping candy& beanies all covered with yummy milk chocolate! Love love love. It's the weirdest thing but yet the coolest thing. When you bite into it , the popping candy immediately reacts and you get a combination of chocolate and popping sounds. It was only HKD $9 bucks so it's not too bad. I give this a thumbs up! Try it out see what you think.

TV: Obsessed with New Shows

Let me begin with saying I have a problem, a problem with television series I don't know what makes it so addictive! I can't seem to get enough of shows nowadays it's beginning to become quite a bad habit, I must say.

So the first one up is an oldie released in the 2000 korean drama "autumn in my heart", I have recently been thinking about this show so much that I decided to rewatch it. You can find a synopsis by searching through wiki or google but be aware wiki does go through the whole story. I must say korean drama especially this one pulls on all the right heart strings.

Next up some new shows in the states

Emily Owens M.D: Though it was canceled after one season which i'm very disappointed about, it's still a must watch! Anyone remember kotas dunas from the sisterhood of the travelling pants movie? He's part of Emily Owen's cast, he plays such a sweet character that any girl would be lucky to have.

The Carrie Diaries: Where Sex and the City all began, Anna Sophia Robb plays a splendid Carrie

The Following: cults. enough said

Guide: Candle Wax Cleaning

Have you ever used up a candle and haven't been entirely sure what to do with them? Do I throw it? Try to light it up again and cross my fingers to hope it relights? We'll I have and then I came across missglamorazzi's video on reusing your candle jar and voila a nice glass jar for repurposing

Materials:
-a fridge
-knife (butterknife would be best)
-hot water
-nail polish remover (optional)

Steps:
1. Place the used candle in the freezer and wait for approx 2 hours tops
2. Take the candle jar out of the freezer. Take the butter knife and jab it into the leftover candle carefully twist it till it cracks then take out the candle pieces.
3. Rinse the container with hot water (please be careful) and use the butter knife to move the candle wick posts. The hot water is a way to melt the glue.
4. Once removed there will be some residue left from the glue, wax, you name it
5. The label on the front can easily be removed by peeling but the one on the bottom is a challenge. There are two ways to clean the container of wax and the label that may still be attached

Way 1: Use nail polish remover to remove all the residue and whatnot from the jar (may be messier)
Way 2: Boil some hot water and submerge the jar in a container till everything has melted off. Then while it's still wet you should be able to rip, rub off the label from the bottom

AND voila you have a new container to repurpose! On ways to repurpose find my recent post on glittering the jar. Happy Crafting!

Bonus Project
Re-melt the candle pieces and get some wick from your local craft store to make some smaller candles!

Will be posting a tutorial on the chevron patterned jar soon!

Photography Experiment: Water

A while back I was online looking for inspiration and came across some underwater photos and I thought I should try that it looks fun! But we'll I never got around to it and finally I did... For this shoot I wasn't expecting anything much for the underwater part but I think it turned out pretty cool. I had asked my friend Halle if she'd be willing to try this with me and she was perfect for this.

When I went through the photos I decided that it should be named Youth's Essence. See for yourself below...

New and Ready

Where do I begin? I guess I'll start with I'm not sure where I plan to go with this but i'm willing to see where it takes me. This is my start, i'm new but i'm ready.

Who am I?

Someone who like to take photos specifically doing photoshoots but I also love DIYing, nail polish collections, finding good deals yea.. I'm diverse (joking). I guess I'm still figuring it out, ain't everyone? We'll everyone who comes across this blog bear with me. As the title of this blog suggests I love mustaches & the infinity sign. My friends ask me all the time why do I love the infinity sign especially the double infinity since I get it hennaed on my wrist from time to time. And no I don't have an answer, I just do... is that weird? Do you have any signs, things that you just love but don't have a reason for?

I think i'm gonna end it there for now...
Here are some photographs from past shoots i've done
